The Keyence KV-8000 is a high-end programmable logic controller CPU belonging to the KV-8000 building-block automation control series. It delivers ultra-fast processing speed for high-demand machine control, motion applications and data logging.
Equipped with a built-in LCD status display, integrated EtherNet/IP port and USB 2.0 programming port, this CPU supports mixed expansion modules including I/O, analog, motion and vision camera units. Its exclusive Machine Operation Recorder automatically logs ladder logic status, trigger events and linked vision data, supporting offline playback to accelerate fault diagnosis without on-site inspection.
The system supports flexible mixed configuration with KV-7000, KV-5000 and KV-3000 series expansion modules. Wide operating temperature tolerance, strong EMC noise resistance and optional battery-backed memory ensure stable continuous operation in industrial workshop environments.
